Ever catch yourself thinking: “Why does life feel like it’s always coming for me?”
Here’s the truth: your life is intense because your mandate is intense.
That pressure? That opposition? That constant uphill climb? It’s not God testing your loyalty or punishing you—it’s proof. Proof you’re carrying serious weight that others can’t.
Let’s get this straight: storms don’t build you. The only power pain and suffering has is to steal, kill, and destroy.
Storms just reveal what’s already been built.
Jesus never said the storm was your training program. He said the house that stood was the one built on solid ground. Translation? If you wait until chaos hits to start scrambling for character, you’re already late to the party.
Big callings need deep roots. And wisdom grows those roots before the storm shows up. Because by the time the sky breaks open, it’s too late to plant.
Let’s set the record straight with Joseph: betrayal didn’t build him. Prison didn’t prepare him. Those were just the backdrop of a broken world.
What prepped him was how he responded. He led in Potiphar’s house. He led in prison. He led in Pharaoh’s court. His response positioned him for his mandate.
Prison didn’t make Joseph. His faithfulness and character in the face of betrayal did. Potiphar's house was a stage. The prison was a stage.
So no, your suffering isn’t your “spiritual boot camp.” That’s bad theology. Your response in the middle of it all? That’s what counts.
Let’s be real: you’re not “too much.” You’re wired for more.
High-capacity women feel highs and lows like jet fuel burning. That’s not weakness—it’s design. Your nervous system runs hotter because your mandate runs deeper.
As my pastor says it, we can handle high stakes cuz we roll BIG.
So stop apologizing for your intensity. The world doesn’t need another lukewarm leader sipping LaCroix while it's in a moral free-fall.
The fire isn't sent to prove you. But it can be proof you were already carrying weight.
God won't break you to make you. Only abusers do that.
And let’s get real about it—its a very low likelihood the devil himself is messing with you. He probably isn’t gunning for little ol’ you or me. He can’t be everywhere like God can. What he can do is lie, deceive, and nudge broken people into fueling global evils. But he’s not micromanaging your Tuesday morning.
So if it's not God and it's the devil, what's up with all the pressure?
Christianity isn’t about equal and opposite forces duking it out—God and the devil aren't on the same scale.
Like, at all.
But here’s the deal: pressure always flows toward resistance. That’s not just spiritual talk—it’s physics.
Physics says pressure is force applied against resistance. Air slams into low-pressure zones. Water pounds a dam. Blood pressure spikes when arteries resist flow. Pressure isn’t random—it reveals where resistance lives.
Biology says your muscles only grow because resistance creates pressure. Without weight pushing back, there’s no strength.
Neuroscience says stress feels strongest where your brain perceives resistance between capacity and outcome. Translation? Pressure shows up where your potential is colliding with opposition.
Spiritually, the same principle applies. Truth rattles lies. Light rattles darkness. Leadership rattles passivity. And pressure always finds the leaders actually standing in the way.
So if life feels like it’s pressing harder on you than others, never assume you’re fragile or not cut out for the mandate on your life. You’re not. You’re the dam holding back floodwaters. You’re the weight racking up strength.
You’re the leader resistance can’t ignore.
You’re actually moving the needle, friend.
You're disrupting what’s broken.
So let’s call it what it is:
You’ve got this.
When you stand up to the storm God doesn’t just crack a door open to give you a way out. He blows it off the hinges.
The very friction you feel is proof you’re carrying something weighty enough to shift culture.

Ever catch yourself thinking: “Why does life feel like it’s always coming for me?”
Meanwhile, your neighbor’s biggest crisis is that Target was out of oat milk. 🙄
Here’s the truth: your life is intense because your mandate is intense.

Big callings need deep roots. And wisdom grows them before the storm shows up. Because by the time the sky breaks open, it’s too late to plant.
Esther wasn’t made when Haman started plotting. She was already prepared—so when the pressure hit, purpose walked into the room.
Joseph? Same deal. Let’s set the record straight: betrayal didn’t build him. Prison didn’t prepare him. Those were just the backdrop of a broken world.
What mattered was how he responded. He led in Potiphar’s house. He led in prison. He led in Pharaoh’s court. His consistency revealed his readiness.

So stop apologizing for your intensity. The world doesn’t need another lukewarm leader sipping LaCroix through the apocalypse.
The fire isn't sent to make you into something greater. It's proof you were already carrying weight.
This isn’t yin/yang. It’s not karma. It’s not “the universe testing you.”
It's not God trying to break you to make you.
And let’s get real about it—the devil himself probably isn’t gunning for little ol’ you. He can’t be everywhere like God can. What he can do is lie, deceive, and nudge broken people into fueling global evils—think Epstein’s Island 2.0. But he’s not micromanaging your Tuesday morning.
I'm just sayin'.
Christianity isn’t about equal and opposite forces duking it out—victory is already secured in Christ.
But here’s the deal: pressure always flows toward resistance. That’s not just spiritual talk—it’s physics.
