I've needed a miracle more than a few times in my life. The number of high-impact life stressors I've experienced in my 46+ years on this earth is too painful to count.
I spent years in the pressure-cooker of life. Some of my pain was from my own bad decisions. Some was from other people's bad decisions.
If not for God stepping in time and time again I wouldn't be talking to you today.
IT WASN'T ALWAYS LIKE THAT THOUGH!
We can actually limit what God can do in our lives! And that's what I was doing. Until I learned how to stop limiting what God!
I remember when my mom was hanging on for life. Literally. She was on three forms of life support and in a coma for weeks. If ever we needed a miracle, it was then.
I downloaded every sermon I could find on miracles. I read every account of Jesus healing someone. I took fierce notes while death was taunting us, my mom's face ash and the doctors telling us she wasn't the sickest person in the ICU and the sickest person they had ever put on those machines. It was there way of saying she was going to die.
But by doing exactly what Jesus showed us how to do, the very morning they were going to remove all life-saving intervention she began to heal. Mom is alive and well today!
AND I have experienced physical healing SIX times in my own life.
SO MAYBE THE FIRST TIME I GOT LUCKY.
but SIX TIMES???
Here's the deal: the Bible says we are to have the faith OF God, not faith IN God. Yep!
I'm telling you right now. That one little word makes all the difference, and I'm going to show you in the Bible how to operate the faith that God used to put the planets into orbit, that heals the sick and brings the dead to life.
4 Things You Should Know About Miracles
- It only takes faith the size of a mustard seed to get a miracle.
Trying to get more faith is an exercise in
unbelief. We've already been given the
measure of faith we need to see a miracle!
We just need to activate it.
- Once you understand the anatomy of a miracle you will realize some aren't all that miraculous after all!
But shhhhhh... don't tell anyone that. They'll
call you a heretic. Ask me how I know ;)
- Jesus said YOU CAN and YOU
WOULD do everything that He did...and then some!
Jesus never told the disciples to ask God for
healings or miracles. Nope. He told them to
do it. Huh??? Yep! I'll show you.
- Quantum physics scientifically proves miracles can happen at human will.
Yep. You can trust this science. What is
science anyway other than proof that God
exists? When it comes to knowing God, we
START with the Bible and END with
science, never the other way around.
